March Meeting: Joint Simulation Roundtable & ITS Subcommittee: Microsimulation of Adaptive Signal Systems
Date: Wednesday, April 10th, 2013, 12:00 - 1:30 PM
Location: ODOT Region 1 (123 NW Flanders St., Portland), Conference Room A/B
The presentation focused on the art of modeling adaptive signal systems as part of the alternative selection or design process. We focused on what it takes to model these type of systems, the level of effort involved, and how effective the results are in replicating field conditions. Miranda Wells/DKS presented on her experience using Scatsim in Pasadena, CA. Marshall Cheek/SynchroGreen presented on prior project examples using SynchroGreen.
