The Highway Capacity Manual 7th Edition was released January 2022. Join us to learn about the updates and new methodologies in the manual, including capacity impacts of CAVs, a new network analysis method, two-lane highway analysis method, enhancements to pedestrian analysis methods, and more! ODOT spearheaded the study behind the new CAV capacity impacts method and will be providing an overview of the method and its application. ODOT will also be providing an overview of their approval process for the HCM7 before it is approved for application on projects and integrated into the Analysis Procedure Manual. An overview of the latest APM updates will also be covered. This webinar is hosted by your Oregon ITE SimCap (Simulation and Capacity Analysis Subcommittee) co-chairs .
