Oregon ITE May Webinar - I-5 and I-205 Toll Projects Update
Date: Wednesday, May 5th
Location: GoToWebinar
Time: 12:00 - 1:30 PM
Cost: Free
In 2017, the Oregon Legislature directed ODOT to pursue tolling on I-5 and I-205 in the Portland Metro region to help manage traffic congestion. A 2018 feasibility analysis determined that tolling could effectively manage congestion and raise revenue. Regional tolling projects continue to evolve, with the I-205 Toll Project coming first to help fund the I-205 Improvements Project (widening and bridge replacement) followed by a broader system-wide look at tolling on I-5 and I-205 to manage traffic congestion. Chi Mai (ODOT) and Mat Dolata (WSP) will provide a Toll Projects overview and summarize the technical analysis approach for these ground-breaking projects.
