Oregon ITE March Sustainability Luncheon

Greenroads International is an independent non-profit organization and the developer of the Greenroads Rating System. They have been fighting climate change by making roads cleaner and greener since 2010. Their mission is to benefit communities and the environment by recognizing green transportation projects through a certification program and promotion sustainability education for transportation infrastructure. To date there are 58 certified projects, with over one hundred registered in 11 states and 8 countries. ODOT and Multnomah County recently received a SILVER certification on the Sellwood Bridge project, and Multnomah County is now pursuing certification on the Burnside Bridge.
