Candidates for Secretary-Treasurer
Will Farley:
Will Farley has over 10 years of experience working as a transportation engineer. Currently, he works as the City of Lake Oswego’s traffic engineer advocating for improved safety and better bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure throughout the Portland region. Previously, he worked in the private sector providing traffic analysis and infrastructure design for development projects throughout Oregon and Washington. Will has been involved with ITE dating back to 2010 and his time at Portland State University working on his Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering. In 2016, he assisted with Oregon ITE’s Traffic Bowl and has since continued to help organize the event every November as the Traffic Bowl Chair. Will is excited for the opportunity to take a more active role in the Oregon Section of ITE. He has found that the professional networking and educational offerings of ITE to be invaluable in his advocacy for transportation safety and he wishes to continue supporting the section in providing its vital contributions to other professionals working in transportation. |
Cadell Chand:
With over half a decade of leadership experience in ITE organizations and experience serving as treasurer for other professional organizations, Cadell is excited to run for the position of Secretary-Treasurer. He currently serves as Oregon ITE’s Winter Workshop Co-Chair and serves on both the ITE Western District Student Funding & Initiatives Committee and ITE International Equity Lens Subcommittee. Ioana Cosma:
Ioana Cosma is a transportation engineer with nearly ten years of experience, deeply committed to enhancing the safety and operational efficiency of regional traffic signal systems. In addition to pursuing these goals as a traffic engineer at Clackamas County, she actively fosters positive relationships and volunteers within ITE to create opportunities for others. As the Local Arrangement Committee Technical Tour Lead for the ITE 2023 International conference, she arranged eight technical tours. To ensure a memorable experience for attendees she supported the tour guides with planning and remained readily available to address issues throughout the conference. Ioana is dedicated to ITE involvement and has a sincere commitment to fostering professional growth. She looks forward to taking on a more active role within Oregon ITE, collaborating with fellow transportation professionals. |
